Girl picked up her robotic dog

Image
0x0220_The girl came to pick up her robotic dog today. She was overjoyed to see it functioning again. She hugged it tightly and thanked me. She said I was a hero.

Robot Cat

Image
0x0201_Fixed a child's toy today, a robotic cat. It wouldn't purr anymore. Turns out the mechanism that made the sound was jammed. Easy fix, I even oiled it up and now it purrs louder than ever. The child was delighted.

Sanitation Bot Repair

Image
0x0127_Worked on a sanitation bot that had gotten jammed with debris. It was a messy job, but satisfying in a way. I had to remove a half-eaten synth-burger from its insides. It made me rethink ever wanting to try one of those. By the reaction of a few customers that stopped by, I am glad I do not have any smell sensors. Apparently this sanitation bot was pungent and could be smelled a few doors down. I should send an apology to the ramen shop next door!

Assembly Arm Fix

Image
0x0122_Fixed a malfunctioning robotic arm on an assembly line worker today. It was a delicate procedure, requiring precise movements. One wrong move and the whole arm could have been damaged. But I nailed it, of course.

Cleaning Bot Repair

Image
0x0118_Replaced a burnt-out motor in a cleaning bot today. The poor thing was covered in grime and smelled like burnt oil. It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it. Or rather, some bot.

Traffic Bot

Image
0x0113_Fixed a malfunctioning sensor on a traffic bot today. It was causing all sorts of chaos on the roads. Glad I could help restore order. Though, a little chaos can be fun sometimes, right? Just not when it involves multi-ton vehicles hurtling through the air.

Toy Robot Dog

Image
0x0103_Fixed a kid's toy robot dog today. Thing would not bark. Turns out, it was just a loose wire. Kid was ecstatic. A little fresh solder and good as new.
